Application due date:

  • JPP - September 1, 2009
  • DSPP - October 1, 2009

Program start: Thursday 31 December 2009
Program finish: Friday, February 12, 2010

All students must arrive in Jakarta by Wednesday 30 December 2009 at the latest, as orientation will commence on 31 December 2009. Students may arrive as early as 18 December providing their return ticket is booked for the weekend immediately following the conclusion of the program (13-14 February). Because of the problems of getting seats on aeroplanes during the New Year period, participants are strongly advised to book their flights early. Participants must realise that the responsibility to arrange flights belongs to the participant. ACICIS will accept no liability if a participant is unable to arrange flights.

Under no circumstances will Atma Jaya University supply letters for extensions of a socio-cultural visa. 60 days is the maximum duration of the socio-cultural visa for the JPP and students are responsible for any overstays resultant of arriving in Indonesia so early that they are unable to complete the JPP on their 60 day visa. The duration of the 60 day social-cultural visa commences from the date that the student enters the country, NOT the date of issue of the visa itself.
